First Publication in Advanced Functional Materials
After years to trying to publish in an Advanced Materials Family Journal, I made a very solid first step today. Now, my next target is Advanced Materials.

APS March Meeting 2015 in San Antonio
It is fun to go on a road-trip with Prof. Grunlan to attend the APS March Meeting in San Antonio on March 5th. My 12 minute talk is a little bit short, but I had a reasonable amount of audience (~20), and I answered two good questions.

2014 Pepsico Journey through Science Day
I participated in the 2014 Pepsico Journey through Science Day in at The New York Academy of Science on December 8, 2014. The event was held in the 40th floor of the new world trade center. The vice president Pepsico, who is in charge of R&D, gave the opening speech. Several research scientists also showcased their career path and gave valuable suggestions to the graduate students and post-docs at the meeting. The poster contest in the afternoon is diverse and high quality. I recommend everyone to attend this event if possible.
